KRESTful API
Developed a restful API to provide translation service from Krio (a local dialect in Sierra Leone, West Africa) to English. Developed with HTML, CSS, JavaSript, Python Django Framework, and NoSQL Mongo DB.

Problem
There is a lack of digital tools to translate Krio, a widely spoken dialect in Sierra Leone, into English, creating a barrier for non-Krio speakers.
Approach
Designed and developed an API that leverages natural language processing (NLP) models to accurately translate Krio text to English. Integrated MongoDB for storing language data and translation logs.
Results
The API has been adopted by several educational platforms and has improved communication for non-Krio speakers working in Sierra Leone.
Objectives
To create a reliable translation service that bridges the language gap between Krio and English speakers.
