Developed a restful API to curate and bring all the latest news from major newspapers in Sierra Leone. Developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JS Nodejs and JSON.

Problem

Accessing up-to-date news from various Sierra Leonean newspapers is challenging due to the fragmented nature of online news sources.

Approach

Developed an API that aggregates news articles from multiple sources in Sierra Leone, using web scraping and JSON formatting to standardize the data.

Results

The API has been integrated into several news aggregation platforms, enhancing access to news for users across Sierra Leone and the diaspora.

Objectives

To centralize access to news from Sierra Leone, making it easier for users to stay informed.
